GEO’s 25th Anniversary and Opening of the New Factory Ceremony was celebrated with great participation and enthusiasm. Fatih Ertekin, GEO’s General Manager and Chairman of the Executive Board, stated that they started to strengthen design engineering and export departments in his speech at the ceremony which Turkey’s most important industrialists and the protocol names attended. He gave the information that prior aims for the sixth 5 year, meanly 2019-2023 periods are to design factories, international cooperation of manufacturing and export them while heralding that GEO is also taking a step forward new business lines.
Ertekin added that they finished the construction of the new facility, which is located on 2800 square meter wide land, less than 1 year and as soon as the facility was commissioned in June, they continued the manufacturing and exporting at their new factory without slowing down. And he underlined that the first manufacturing of the new facility were many furnaces for special purposes and tanks for beverage sector.
In the ceremony, GEO family invited their members and business partners, who walked together with GEO in 25 years, to the stage in order to present thanks to them. Emotional moments were experienced at the ceremony with speeches made by business partners who were invited to the stage.
During the cocktail accompanied by guitar, violin and cello, an intimate atmosphere was created and important industrialists from various sectors had the opportunity to mesh with each other.

The founder Fatih Mehmet Ertekin’s construction site work life, which started while studying in Mechanical Engineering Department of Middle East Technical University at late 1970s, foresight and dreams for future, gradually became a passion to add value to society and the country’s industry through technological production.
These dreams became concrete with the efforts of incorporation. Having founded in 1993 in Bursa, GEO moved its headquarters to Izmir in 1997. It was restructured in 1999 and improved its business volume.
